The undoing of many vision and destinies is indolence and lay-by attitude. If you are slothful, you will miss your slot in life. Everything God has spoken concerning you calls for diligence. Jesus was diligent after He was anointed.
Acts 10:38 -How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jesus was not sitting around but He went about His business and as He went; God was with Him. Lazy people have no future on any field of endeavor. When a man is lazy, he has already signed up for failure. Our God is a diligent God and Jesus testified of Him.
John 5:17 – But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
You have to engage diligently in your assignment; Christianity is not for lazy people.
John 9:4 – I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
Jesus lived on earth as a man of necessity; not a man of casual living. If a man does not work as a youth, sooner or later, he will end up as a beggarly adult. You must plan early in life if you don’t want to suffer later in life. Work early in life if you don’t want to beg later in life. When you work, dividends naturally come your way without sweat. The portion of a lazy youth is begging at adulthood.
Eccl.10:18 -By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
May you receive grace to work now!
Eccl.9:10 -Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Before you find what you like to do in life, begin to do the one you have already found. Don’t be an idle or a lazy man. Be diligent in what to do. If you are hardworking, naturally you will be at least 50% ahead of others who are not hardworking. Stop wasting your time; no one looks for a failure. May the spirit of diligence upon my life come upon you from now on the name of Jesus the Christ –Amen!
God bless you
