The Price Of Success – By David Ibiyeomie

Matt.13:44-46 -Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Success is a costly endeavor. There is a price behind every great success you see today. Many people are not interested in the prize for success but they only want to see the result; so, they keep chasing the wind all their lives.

Luke 14:28-30 -For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

Every prize carries a price. Hence, the level of dignity you command is a function of the price you are willing to pay.

Prov.27:21 -As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.

Every great accomplishment therefore is a product of a great price paid. Every global impact will demand a global price. There is no short-cut to greatness and there are no short-cuts to anywhere worth going.

Many believers settle for the status-quo due to the seemingly unbearable price that success demands.

Matt.11:12 -And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

To enjoy success, there is a cost price attached to it and that includes commitment to God and His word and then dedication to your assignment. As you constantly seek God’s face in prayer and study of His word as well as dedicate your time and energy to your assignment, you will encounter a net-breaking, boat-sinking success in the name of Jesus –Amen!

God bless you
