Enjoying Divine Favour -By David Ibiyeomie

Eccl. 9:4- For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
Your case is not hopeless. One hour is too much for God to do a new thing. Favour is part of life. Man was created to enjoy favour. God created all things and brought them to man to enjoy. So, you are not created to endure but to enjoy.
Favour is special preference or privilege that gives someone an advantage over others.
Psalm 31:21 – Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city.
Scripturally, favour is God’s countenance shining upon someone.
Psalm 44:3 – For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
Luke 2:52 – And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
When God favours you, He will cause even those that hate you to favour you because it is divine favour that provokes the favour of men. From this day, may the favour of God locate you wherever you go in Jesus name!
Deut. 7:6, 14 – For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 14 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
Divine favour is the heritage of the children of God.
Psalm 16:6 – The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
Psalm 5:12 – For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Jesus enjoyed favour on every side; so you should also expect favour. You belong to the class of favour reserved for the children of God. Favour comes via salvation. Until you are born again. You are not qualified to enjoy this kind of favour.
One day of favour can terminate a lifetime of labour. The world walks by human labour but in the kingdom of God, we walk by favour. Anything the world wants, they agitate for it. Peter toiled all night looking for fish but when Jesus came to the scene, favour showed up. Favour begins where struggle stops.
Psalm 106:4 – Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
May you enjoy good favour! After now, what you did not labour for, God will give it to you in Jesus name!
Favour is the flavor of life – it makes life sweet and exciting; it makes life pleasurable and colourful; it turns sweat to sweet; it turns pressure to pleasure.
Favour ends human labour and struggle. Just one night of favour for the Israelites, ended 430 years of slavery and suffering in Egypt. Peter found favour when Jesus used his boat to preach; his toiling and frustration was terminated (Luke 5:1-7).
From today, irrespective of the number of people competing with you, favour will single you out in the name of Jesus! One encounter with favour gave Peter a boat-sinking, net-breaking blessings. When God’s favour comes your way, it terminates labour of any kind. I decree to you that after now, God will give you a net-breaking and boat-sinking favour in that area you are toiling in Jesus name!
Divine favour ends emptiness and guarantees abundance. The children of Israel suffered untold hardship and lack but when divine favour showed up, they all became millionaires overnight; they had enough gold and silver to spend. God’s favour even turns the counsel of a man’s enemies to foolishness.
May the favour of God locate you and terminate all struggles, frustrations and sufferings in your life! May it turn your setbacks to breakthroughs! From this day, your applications, contract bids and quotations shall be chosen above others. Step into your season of favour in Jesus name – Amen!
God bless you
