The God Of Possibilities – By David Ibiyeomie

There is a supernatural part of God that cannot be ignored, a part that no man can handle. Man will always need the earth to walk, no science or technology can provide an earth that can contain 7.7 billion people to walk on. No science can provide a body of water that can contain the number of fish in this world to swim. In medicine, when a man dies they say, “we tried all we could but we lost him, this is beyond us”. There is a part to God that no matter what, we will always need Him. What is beyond man can never be beyond God.

Jeremiah 32:27  Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

Jeremiah 32:17  Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.

God created man to always be dependent on Him. God takes pleasure in doing the impossible. There is no situation God cannot handle, no sickness He cannot cure. He can do all things.

Numbers 23:19  God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

It gives God joy when you believe Him but it pains Him when you doubt Him. You must have faith. Faith is your access to the God of possibilities.

Mark 11:22-23  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Jesus said, have faith in God, believe God, have confidence in Him. By so doing you commit God to perform His word.

Mark 9:23  Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

There is nothing impossible to him that believes. Whatever you believe, that is what you see and that is what you become. Faith is your major access if God must do the impossible and it is not optional as a Christian, it is a must.

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

He that cometh to God MUST believe. It is compulsory that you have faith. God only responds to faith, not your emotions and needs. When Lazarus died, Jesus did not respond to Martha’s crying else He would have come earlier. He came and said “take away the stone”, He needed them to first have faith that he can raise Lazarus back to life and that proof was their rolling away the stone.

John 11:39-40  Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

Just like Martha, when God gives an instruction, many of us want to make God see reasons with us why you cannot do what He has asked you to do. But God is a God that says what does not make sense to you to give you what you need, His thoughts are beyond you so you just have to have confidence in Him.

Luke 17:19  And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Jesus did not say, because you have been sick for days, you are healed. No, He said “thy faith has made thee whole”.  He is a compassionate God, He is merciful unto us but He needs your faith in Him. As you begin to completely rely on Him, I see every God turn every impossible case in your life into a miracle!

God bless you
