David Ibiyeomie; a man anointed by God, elected by grace and sent to run with God’s divine mandate to establish His kingdom here on earth and to bless humanity. He is the presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries – Home of Success; one of the fastest growing churches in the world with ground-breaking results and branches spreading to almost all the major cities of the world. He pastors millions of worshippers spread across the globe with Headquarters presently located at Plot 17 Birabi Street, GRA Phase II, Port Harcourt in Rivers State of Nigeria. He was born in Bonny Island, Rivers State Nigeria on the 21st of October, 1962 to the family of late Chief and Mrs. Apollos Iganibo of Bolo Town in Ogu / Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria.
David Ibiyeomie attended Banham Primay School, Port Harcourt, Rivers State from 1969 to 1974 for his Primary education. He went to Government Comprehensive Secondary School Borikiri, Rivers State between 1974 and 1979 for his secondary education. After then, he was admitted into Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt for a degree course in Micro-biology in 1980. In recognition of his diligence and result oriented Ministry, the Bradley University of America awarded him an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity on the 15th of May 2004.
David Ibiyeomie got born again in 1995 and discovered his divine call that same year. By grace, he separated himself from home and family to study under the tutelage of his mentor Bishop David Oyedepo in the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI of the Living Faith Church). While in the Bible School, the vision to establish and run Church based ministry became very clear to him. Therefore, on Sunday April 13th 1997, with 34 persons in attendance, and a mandate TO ESTABLISH THE KINGDOM OF GOD HERE ON EARTH through infallible proofs, David Ibiyeomie started Salvation Ministries, the Home of Success and for more than 22 years, he has spread the gospel globally with infallible proofs thereby, fulfilling his God-given mandate to “Establish the Kingdom of God here on earth”. This has made him a wonder to many.
On the 13th of February 2011, he started 14 satellite churches in one day, all running five services each and gathering mammoth crowd; an epic and wonder in the history of church growth. On 26th January, 2020, he began the Sunday Seven Services which are currently being interpreted simultaneously in French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Russian, Chinese, Italian, and Dutch amongst other indigenous and foreign Languages. He presently has well over 1000 Pastors (Full time and part time) and many missionaries assisting in fulfilling his God given mandate.
In 2014 and 2015, he started Salvation Radio and Salvation TV respectively which has blessed many homes globally. He also started a television program called the Hour Of Salvation on NTA Channel 10 Port Harcourt but today, the program is hosted on over 50 TV stations both locally and internationally. They Include: Salvation TV covering the Sub-Sahara, Europe, Middle East and Asia via her satellites while the whole globe is covered via her 24/7 internet live stream, Daystar USA, KICC, The Word Network among others.
David Ibiyeomie is a mentor to many, a prolific writer, a teacher, a pastor, father, a world changer and an education crusader. Due to his love for education, Chokhmah International Academy was established in 2011, with the addition of a state-of-the-art boarding facility located at Igwuruta Port Harcourt; while Pacesetter University; the university arm of the commission is under construction. He is a lover of excellence no wonder all facilities bought and built is of world class stand.
His passion to educate youths has attracted numerous awards to him. He was awarded an education crusader by Ignatius Ajuru University Of Education just to mention a few of his numerous awards; where he was appreciated for helping young Nigerian youths through his scholarship scheme. In 1997, he began a spiritual training arm called the Word Of Life Bible Institute (WOLBI) which has produced thousands of great feat ‘accomplishers’ both locally and internationally with unbelievable yet undeniable testimonies since her inception in 1997 with 23 pioneer students. Thousands of his messages have being produced and sold globally with undeniable proofs of life transformation. Backed up by God, David Ibiyeomie executed giant projects such as building a mega cathedral that runs into millions of dollars, with over 1000 workers on site. David Ibiyeomie takes great pleasure in helping the less privilege. This has led to the establishment of David Ibiyeomie Foundation (DIF) which has contributed immensely to the society through her welfare programmes and schemes such as scholarship, welfare packages, free medical outreaches, gifts to the orphanages, prisons, physically changed amongst others.
He has thousands of people benefiting from his scholarship scheme both locally and internationally. In 2017, he personally gave scholarships to over 200 persons and awarded scholarship to over 800 persons through the church which increased to over 1,700 persons in 2018 and in 2019, the number grew to over 2,450 persons. His love for education is second to none, no wonder from November 2018 to 2019, he has spent over 1.5 Billion Naira of his personal money on Scholarship just to train students in primary, secondary and university all over the world. In 2019, through Chokhmah International Academy he has awarded more scholarships to persons who can barely afford standard education.

David Ibiyeomie through the church Salvation Ministries is constructing schools which will be equipped with the state of the arts facilities for the general public. Through the Church, he has constructed a home for the elderly in port Harcourt, reconstructed several roads in the capital city of Port Harcourt (Nigeria), and sent relief materials to war torn areas such as Bayelsa State (Nigeria), Jos-Plateau State (Nigeria), Makurdi-Benue State (Nigeria), Liberia in the Sub-saharan region to mention but a few. David Ibiyeomie is intensely involved in community service with a commitment to building a society furnished with dignity.
Despite the much achieved in 2017, David Ibiyeomie is still relentlessly meeting the needs of less privileged. In 2019, through his foundation, he trained and empowered hundreds of people in different skills, wrote off medical bills for persons who underwent surgeries in India, Germany, Dubai, U.S.A and many more. He has also paid for the prenatal care of many pregnant women and also treatment and surgeries for hundreds of persons in the best hospitals in Nigeria (the likes of Good Heart Hospital, Save A Life Mission Hospital, Prime Hospital, and Meridian Hospital just to mention a few). His foundation has trained well over 300 persons in career development, awarded scholarships to students from different communities and states. Ukraine, India, United Kingdom are some of the foreign nations where his scholarship scheme spans through. Covenant University, Afe Babalola University and Bells University are some of the Private Universities which have students under his scholarship. He also has students enjoying his scholarship in both Federal and state Universities across Nigeria. He also has many orphaned and fatherless children in prestigious schools in Nigeria and in Europe.
David Ibiyeomie has financially empowered hundreds of young men and women for business startup and placed many elderly persons above 70 years on monthly salary to cater for their upkeep and renovated some of their houses.
In recent times, he has trained thousands of people on different skill acquisition programs, renovated schools in Bolo Okirika, Igwuruta etc.
David Ibiyeomie has visited many communities like Egbeda, Okirika, Ekinigbo, Abua/Odual, Omerelu and Abuloma just to mention a few to dedicate the communities to God and through his teachings many that had terrorized Rivers State have given up their weapons, attended the Bible School of the commission and are also empowered to start up small scale businesses.
His love for humanity has prompted him to contribute immensely to the society, donating materials worth millions to prisons in Port Harcourt, Nigeria to facilitate the effectiveness of the correction facilities for the inmates and also has through the church funded the renovation of Port Harcourt Maximum Prison, and sending relief materials to flood victims and war torn areas once again such as:

He sent relief materials worth 7 million Naira to IDP camps in Jos Nigeria where those rendered homeless by the herdsmen crisis in the state are accommodated. He also paid rents for hundreds of persons recently and also paid full school fees for not less than 135 person this September alone.
David Ibiyeomie through the Church reconstructed several roads in the city of Port Harcourt, renovated and donated modern hospital equipment worth over two hundred thousand US Dollars to the Pediatric section of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH); creating a wonderful ambiance to accelerate the recovery of the patients and built a home for the elderly in Port Harcourt which was equipped with trend-setting facilities to suit the personal needs of the senior citizens so they can age with dignity. The edifice was completed and donated to the Catholic Church.
David Ibiyeomie has single-handedly funded the ongoing construction of ultra modern 100 hostel facility at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education worth 350 million naira which is almost at the completion stage.

This birthed his visit with his wife to Maryland USA Government House, his visit to Benny Hinn when he came to Nigeria, Pastor Mike Murdock’s invitation to America, invitation to Billy Graham’s Home-Call celebration where he was the only Nigerian preacher invited. His ministrations backed by grace, abolished Ebola in Nigeria; turned HIV positive to negative, changed genotypes, restored sights, recreated auditory canals, restored undescended testis, terminated cancer and the list of testimonies continues.
David Ibiyeomie has also proffered solutions to Niger-Delta crisis and Nigeria’s economic challenges. He has so far in his impactful time in ministry stood on several exalted altars to preach the gospel and his messages have being sort after all over the world.
